Edit: Effective March 11, 2020, all Brown University-sponsored, in-person direct service community engagement has been suspended. Students will reflect on their relationships with community members and consider the differences between fixing, helping, and serving in order to strengthen their engagement. This workshop will examine critiques of multiple community engagement methods.
