Engaged Scholarship Day is a day-long series of events that highlight the intellectual pursuits of Brown University students in collaboration with faculty, community partners, and staff, grounded in deep community engagement towards a public purpose. Engaged Scholarship Day aims to celebrate the myriad forms that community engagement takes at Brown University, including direct service, community-based research and learning, social innovation, community organizing, advocacy, and others.
Call for Student Presentations:
Any undergraduate or graduate student with a Brown affiliation is welcome to propose a presentation; participation in Swearer Center programs is not required. Students may include faculty, staff, or community partners as collaborators in proposed sessions. Presentation options include posters, lightning presentations, panels, roundtable discussions, workshops, and facilitated interviews. The deadline for all submissions is February 28, 2020 at noon.
