Getting Started Workshop #2
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm ~ May 2, Petteruti Lounge – Stephen Robert ’62 Campus Center
This workshop will center on the Fulbright project proposal essays for research and ETA awards as well as the personal statement. We will discuss the difference among these types of essays and the key elements that each needs to have. For students planning to propose an independent research project, we will provide a step by step guide to writing a research proposal. For those who plan to apply for an ETA, we'll provide a detailed explanation of how to put together a strong ETA proposal. And finally for candidates who wish to apply for a graduate program abroad, we will discuss how to best write a proposal for a graduate program abroad. The workshop will emphasize drafting essays and will also address troubleshooting while a project or plan is evolving.
