Getting Started Workshop #3
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm ~ May 10, Petteruti Lounge—Stephen Robert ´62 Campus Center
This workshop will give participants a chance to look closely at samples of winning application essays--both independent research/study grant application essays and English Teaching Assistantship application essays. We will look at these samples together and observe and discuss their organization as well as their strengths and weaknesses. If time permits, we will also ask participants to begin to prepare an outline of one or both of their Fulbright essays—the project proposal and/or the personal statement. This workshop should give students a sense of the various kinds of approaches one can take in preparing a successful Fulbright application.
Registration for this event is required. A Google registration form will be sent to the fellowships at brown listserv a week prior to the event.
