Description
Hi, I am seeking volunteers. volunteers to help collect books from friends and colleagues (on campus), actively supporting a book drive initiative that hopes to send the collected books to inadequately stocked African Tertiary Institutions' Libraries (ongoing on campus).

and/or
volunteers (developers and/or UI/UX designers) to support the design of a web platform that is already on-going, the platform will be an inventory and book management platform for all books collected all over the US (2months, between 2hours a week).

I am an Grad student here at Brown, I initiated a non-profit organization (Efiwe). Efiwe is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and delivering University textbooks to African post-secondary institutions' libraries. I ran a similar book drive in my University (siue.edu) and was able to deliver 787 books to my alma mater University in Nigeria. Current efforts are geared towards initiating similar book drives in Institutions all over the US and sending more books to African Institutions.

Mission: to send One million Books to Tertiary Institution Libraries in Africa by 2030. This is geared towards helping African institutions stock their libraries with relevant books by leveraging the books that are sometimes not used in the US by students or professors.
