For 2018-2019 we are seeking a part-time or full-time intern to help us as we further develop our organization, helping wit youth engagement, growing World Oceans Day, and a national conservation policy campaign focused on healthy fisheries and oceans.

The selected intern would help the director:

- Conduct market analysis of youth-focused organizations and opportunities 
- Organize materials and documents for creation of new nonprofit entity
- Assist with development of governance overview documentation and development of board for new entity
- Assist with developing more effective internal and external communications platforms, tools and resources 
- Draft communications for outreach to network and potential partners

This intern would also help the director with corporate partnership and development:

- Research and target key corporations as potential partners and sponsors
- Develop spreadsheet or other tool with prospects, key contacts and related information 
- Draft resources for outreach including presentation and supporting materials 
- Customize "pitch decks" for target corporations
- Assist in variety of other ways for developing corporate partners and sponsors

Interns are provided with plenty of opportunities to help, and quickly gain valuable skills and knowledge that will help them in future jobs and career. Depending on the intern's interests and skills, they are involved with meaningful work from the beginning that results in significant outcomes and real impact. For 2018 and 2019, we are focusing on youth engagement and leadership development worldwide, plastics pollution prevention, working with aquariums and other visitor-serving organizations on visitor engagement and policy opportunities to defend and strengthen our overarching environmental policies, especially focused on fisheries and a healthy ocean.
