Position Description
Clínica Esperanza/Hope Clinic leverages the altruism of more than 300 volunteers to provide free healthcare to uninsured patients in the community. The Assistant Volunteer Coordinator will work with staff and volunteers to organize and maintain this volunteer model.
- managing the volunteer schedule
- training new volunteers
- coordinating with all staff
- maintaining volunteer files
- updating/creating volunteer protocols
The position is best suited for someone who is highly organized, a good communicator, adaptive, and flexible. The Assistant Volunteer Coordinator would be expected to work 6-8 hours per week. Their specific hours on site is somewhat flexible, but ideally, they would be available for weekly staff meetings on Thursday afternoons (4:30-5:30).
