About
About us:
The Rhode Island Urban Debate League's mission is to engage students in debate programs in order to improve academic outcomes and college readiness. We're taking on big-picture issues like education equity and youth voice though our revolutionary debate-learning programs, which happen both after school and during the school day.
RIUDL is one of the few debate leagues in the country that defines our work using youth development and social justice frameworks. For us, debate is a tool that supports our students to affect the changes they want to see in their community.
