Global Sport



The​ ​Global​ ​Sport​ ​Leadership​ ​Initiative​ ​will​ ​leverage​ ​participation​ ​in​ ​intercollegiate​ ​athletics​ ​to​ ​develop students,​ ​serve​ ​the​ ​community​ ​and​ ​integrate​ ​athletics​ ​into​ ​the​ ​broader​ ​teaching​ ​and​ ​learning​ ​goals​ ​of​ ​the university.​ ​The​ ​program​ ​will​ ​engage​ ​community​ ​partners,​ ​civic​ ​leaders,​ ​and​ ​campus​ ​actors​ ​in​ ​a​ ​series​ ​of graduated​ ​curricular​ ​and​ ​co-curricular​ ​experiences​ ​to​ ​enhance​ ​the​ ​academic​ ​experiences​ ​of​ ​student-athletes.

The Global Sport Community Fellows Program is a dynamic summer fellowship opportunity for Brown student-athletes focused on strengthening the capacity of local community organizations to deliver sport opportunities for local youth.
