Xe and I drew a big poster calendar for the month of November to display upcoming events on a bulletin board. We also collected information to start a new project about CASAS competencies test.
I worked off-site and made a grammar tip sheet for my ESL student.
Xe and I worked on organizing the resource room. We sorted through outdated books and created a document to record them allowing teachers to see what resources are available.
I continued working with my student in the level 1 ESL class. We learned how to pronounce and write numbers and also started identifying classroom objects.
Today I finished making the Substitute Welcoming Handbook. I faced challenges with formatting the content, but I learned how to effectively use Microsoft Word. Working on this project for a few weeks allowed me to get a clear understanding of DIIRI's education resources and policies.
