Elizabeth Austin spent her practicum at the Providence Children's Museum, where kids and their families can participate in active and hands-on approaches to learning. Elizabeth was part of the Education Team, where she facilitated educational programs such as the weekly Museum Maker Club, organized a day-long event called Farm Friends, and worked on an animated promotional video for the museum's STEAM (STEM + Art) programs. She worked directly with children between the ages of 3 to 11, and facilitated both guided and free-play educational opportunities.
